What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance database structures.
- Work with SQL and pgSQL, write Bash scripts, and optimize database execution using advanced techniques.
- Handle distributed data (Citus), partitioned data (Partman), and bitmaps.
- Implement and test features according to the development roadmap.
- Conduct code reviews, merge code, and manage tasks using Git tools and pgAdmin editor.
- Export data (XLSX, CSV, JSON) efficiently and on a large scale.
- Review and optimize SQL queries.
- Partner with teams to implement solutions across multiple systems.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Document architectural decisions and system updates.
What We Expect From You
- Expertise in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Experience in designing and managing high-performance, scalable databases.
- Advanced knowledge of database optimization and query-tuning techniques.
- Proficiency in tools like Git and pgAdmin.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred).
- SCALA experience (preferred but not required).
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on technical challenges.
- Strong English communication skills.
