The role involves developing custom hardware and electronic solutions that enable our robots to perform inspection and maintenance tasks reliably. Collaboration across mechanical, software, and production engineering is crucial to the success of our products.
The Market & Our Technology
ANYbotics is transforming industrial plants in energy, process, and utility sectors by introducing robotics to applications previously beyond reach. Our flagship robot, ANYmal, uses legs for mobility in complex environments and integrates AI for autonomous operations and high-quality inspection results. We design and develop multiple hardware systems, including robotic platforms, actuators, sensors, and charging systems.
Your Contributions
- Collaborate with other engineers to design and maintain the robot’s electronics
- Verify designs against product/system requirements, including electromagnetic compatibility, safety, and radio frequency compliance
- Drive improvements in manufacturability, testability, and assembly processes
- Launch investigations on complex electronics-related challenges
- Identify synergies between different hardware systems
- Work closely with the operations and software development teams
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Industrial experience with a proven track record in electronics design for high production volumes
- Expertise in designing electromagnetically-compliant electronic systems
- Proficiency with PCBA design software and multi-layered boards
- Hands-on experience with electrical measurement equipment and troubleshooting
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
Bonus Points
- Experience with mechatronic hardware systems
- Knowledge of designing explosion-proof electronics and radio frequency equipment compliance
- Firmware programming skills
- ROS/ROS2 knowledge
