Software Engineer ā AI-Powered Web Application Integrations
We are a fast growing startup with growing traction, looking for a software engineer to join our remote team on a full-time basis. This role involves handling back-end development, primarily focused on building integrations with our API and ensuring smooth integration across all facets of our web application.
Following a successful seed round, our close-knit team of nine is expanding. As an early-stage startup, we need team members who are adaptable and ready to work across various product areas. Our team brings deep expertise, with extensive experience in patenting, publishing academic research, and launching enterprise products.
What You'll Do
- Build integrations into our API as well as 3rd parties utilizing Python and / or Ruby
- Build on secure and well-tested APIs, authentication, and PostgreSQL backend on AWS
- Assist in building out web features to automate the patent process
- Collaborate on defining the product roadmap with our ML, design, and business teams
- Establish a deep understanding of our users by meeting with clients and power users from law firms, enterprises, and universities
- Design robust software with comprehensive test suites and monitoring
Qualifications
- 2+ Years professional experience in software development or bachelor's in computer science
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Wear multiple hats and be a leader as our team grows
- Ability to adapt rapidly and work independently

Salary
$80,000 ā $120,000 per year
